In the early 1970's, Dutchman Wiel
Coerver created new methods of teaching ball control skills to the
youth player. By watching slow-motion video of the world's top players,
he was able to breakdown their moves into teachable steps. This method
gave birth to Coerver ® Coaching. Since that time, under Coerver
Coaching Co-Founders Charlie Cooke and Alfred Galustian Coerver ®
Coaching has become a worldwide Network, providing young players and
their coaches, schools and products to improve their Soccer Skills.
Coerver Coachings most recent innovation is the online soccer video skills library at www.PlayGreatSoccer.com
where players and coaches can watch the videos of the drills and
exercises that have made Coerver Coaching the world's #1 soccer
instruction program.
Coerver
Coaching's relationship with Kwik Goal can be traced back to 1986, when
Wiel Coerver contacted Kwik Goal about developing a specific,
high-quality training goal. The training goal would be “flat-faced”,
enabling simultaneous training on both sides of the goal. In addition
to manufacturing this goal, Kwik Goal has also been a partner of
Coerver Coaching for many years. Coerver Coaching Camps and instructors
use, in addition to the Coerver goals, a variety of Kwik Goal training
equipment.
